Last night at work, after serving ice cream to a little girl and her mother, the little girl tugged on her mother’s dress and shyly whispered something in her ear. The mother smiled. “She wants you to know that you’re beautiful”
I have never felt so moved by a compliment in my entire life. That beautiful little girl GMH
One day my eleven year old sister came into my room when I was crying and cutting. She asked me why I did it.
“I’m not beautiful Kaila.”
“Whoever said, that is an idiot, Taylor!
You are beautiful and don’t need to cut.
I love you!”

Today after school I was walking in front of a group of middle schoolers.I heard one say, “You want to pierce your belly button? That’s gross!” Kids who still haven’t lost that innocence GMH
I’m 15 and babysit a 4 year old boy. Today, he said, “Domomeek I love you.”
Then held his hands out for a hug.
I hugged him, with tears in my eyes, Not wanting to let go.
Hearing him say my name (Dominique), then followed by I love you meant the world.
Dune, thank you for making me feel loved, you GMH.

Everyone says I was stupid.
I asked a guy out.
This guy is the worst guy in everyone else’s eyes.
I asked him out because he listens to me when everyone else doesn’t care.
I fainted today and got taken to the hospital. Once at the hospital, my five year old brother held my hand as I woke up. The doctor came in my room, but before he could talk my brother says to the him “Shes not gonna die is she?” The doctor smiles “She’ll be fine.”

Honestly, I am so angry that basketball players, singers, actors etc.
Make more money than my dad that served in Iraq for two years fighting to protect THEM.
Do they really deserve making millions a year to sing a song, or make a shot.

I work in a nursery at my church I’m 14 and am bi-polar. There’s a little girl that’s always in there and she came up to me with a big smile on her face and said, she loved me and gave me a hug.

When I was in fourth grade, one of the boys in my class was diagnosed with leukemia.
A little girl who had never even talked to him, remembered from somewhere that if you make 1000 paper cranes for someone, they can make a wish. Our whole class spent weeks working. We’re all (including the little boy) in 10th grade now. GMH
I had just gotten 10 inches of my hair cut off and donated it to locks of love. All my “friends” were telling me how dumb I looked. Our family went and got pizza after and when I walked in a girl about 5 years old looked me straight in the eyes and said, “Ohhhhhhh very pretty!!”
I have never felt so good about myself in my life. KGMH
Today at field hockey camp, a little girl came up to me and asked me if I was born with a cleft lip, because she was too. She was one of the happiest little girls I ever saw.
Kids like that GMH
In the middle of a huge rush at DD, my next customer was a little girl, not even 8 years old. She was allowed to have one donut for dessert. Without thinking I gave her two just because she was so cute.
10 minutes later, she was back at the counter because she thought I made a mistake and wanted to pay for the other donut. Honest kids GMH

My grandma told me that she still gets butterflies when my grandpa comes home from work.
My grandma is 60 and my grandpa is 68.

I work at a christian daycare, with 3-5 year olds. This little boy who has severe autisum has been really excelling with his speech.
The other day, I was sitting down and he came up behind me, put his hand on my head, and started rubbing it, and as I started to turn around he said, to me “Miss Bailey, why are you so cute.”
