Yesterday I was upset, and I ran into my room and closed my door halfway. My one year old baby brother came in and put Cheetos on the floor next to me.

My adopted little brother was abused for the first six years of his life and arrived in our house an emotional wreck, no-one had ever seen him smile. Two years later, he is the single most positive force in my life, showing me his smile every day.

The other day my friend’s little sister thought I was cool enough to come to her birthday party. Cora, you are adorable. KGMH
My 4 cousins whom I am very close with are moving away. About a week ago I was in their house for the last time. My youngest cousin, who is 3, was sleeping.
As I sat down next to him and began to cry as he slept soundly. I looked at his little face sleeping peacefully and I realized that he GMH that he will growup and be an amazing young man one day.
Today I was at the local mall and was walking past the clothing section in WalMart where a father and his two cildren were browsing. The little boy, about 4, snapped his fingers and pointed at me (a 17 year old girl) and said, “Hey cutie-pie” with a little bat of the eye.

A few days ago I was stressed out about a big competition I had that day. I was wearing a dress. I saw an adorable little girl who looked like she was about 3.
She pulled on the leg of her mom’s pants, pointed at me, and said, “look mommy, it’s a princess!”
I don’t think I’ve ever smiled so much in my life. KGMH
I was at the movies with my friend. I dropped the ice cream I got in the middle of the theater.
A little girl age 4 saw me, asked her mom for $5.
00, bought an ice cream and gave it to me.
After, she asked if I would like to come to her house for cookies and milk.
Now every Friday I babysit her.

I work as a receptionist at a hospital. This little girl, Nikki walked in and introduced herself.
I had to give her mom paper work to fill out, and while her mom was filling out forms, Nikki said, “I have cancer.

Yesterday I was watching my cousin Ali. As she was walking down the hall, she heard her twin brother crying from another room.
She stopped and said, “Eli crying,” then turned around, ran to his room, and stood by the bed watching him with a look of concern. She is 2 years old.

Today while paddling, one boy who is really scared of water was having trouble get out of his kayak. Having no coach’s around to help 3 boys came over. One hopped in the water to hold his boat while the other 2 held it from out of the water. They encouraged him, and told him he wouldn’t tip.
He eventually got out with their help. These 3 boys GMH
Today, after the fireworks in Washington D C my mom and I were walking back to our hotel.
It was a bit before 11 pm. A little boy, maybe about 7, walked up to a homeless woman and gave her a couple dollars and said, “Here. You need it more then I do.”

Today, the 2 year old little girl I babysit named Etta came over, and her mother told me that I’m all she talks about, and every night when she says her prayers she says “God Bless Kendall.” After having a bad week, she reminded me that I am loved. Etta, I love you :)

After 1 year living in a hospital, my little sister Averie-Leigh died of cancer. I visited her school and her best friend Henry made me a card saying everything will be okay and that if I needed anything he was their for me. He’s only 13.

I was helping my mom do hair for her friend’s wedding. Her friend’s son has autism and wanted his hair done like his mom, so I told him I would do it for him. I sprayed water in his hair and combed it.
When I was done he gave me a hug and said, “I hope I look as beautiful as you now.” Dustin, your love GMH
Today, I was giving a tour to kindergarten through first graders at an art museum. They all had buddies so they would stay together. As we were walking, I heard one of the little girls say, “I have the most beautiful buddy in the world.”
Her buddy replied, “So do I.” Their innocent world view GMH
I was sitting in the car with my two month old nephew yesterday. Three boys about my age got out of the car beside me and gave me a dirty look for being a ‘teenage mother.’
I was very upset, until my nephew grabbed my finger, held it and gave me a huge smile. Moments like that GMH
One of my friend’s dad died. And I texted him to ask him how he was. His first text to me? “I’m okay. How are you doing these days? I hope you’re happy (:”

Today at the beach, a boy came up and started talking to me. He was giving me shells and telling me that I was beautiful. He was holding my hand and trying to bring me in the water with him. He wouldn’t leave my side for the rest of the afternoon.
I think I have a new boyfriend. Did I mention that he is 4 years old, and I am 19. KGMH
It was 9:30 pm when my doorbell rang. I answered it. It was a little girlholding a black kitten. She said, it was following her, and wanted to know if it was anyones.

Today my 7 year old cousin found out I play a Harry Potter role play game online. I was embarrassed and asked her not to tell anyone. She asked me to tell her everything about Harry Potter.
We spent the next 3 years in Harry Potter school until she knew everything. Her commitment GMH
Today I was grocery shopping with my Mom and brother. As we were walking by, a woman in an electric wheelchair whizzed by. Standing on the back was her grandson, waving at everyone who waved back.
The look on her face was priceless. They GMH
My mother died in September of a rare cancer. My daughter was due only 3 months later. My 7 year old little brother found me crying and asked why. When I told him mom wouldn’t ever see Taylor, he looked at me and said, “Mom will see her. She sees us every day. I feel her.”
