My 17 year old sister just broke up with her first love. It broke her heart. This morning, she was crying, and none of my sisters or I were able to help.
Then my 15 month old niece ran up to her, hugged her leg, and only wanted her. My sister stopped crying. My baby niece’s understanding GMH.
A few days ago I was at the park. I was sitting alone in the grass, feeling sad becuase of how my friend was acting.
A little girl and her friend, both around 4, came up to be and asked what was wrong.
Their ablitly to notice I was sad when no one else did GMH.
I have depression and very low self esteem. The other day I was moaning about my body and looks, when my 9 year old sister Francine, who was reading a book of Greek myths said, “Helen was the most beautiful lady in the world and so are you.”
She hugged me. I felt like crying.
Me and my family were visiting my sick grandmother who was dying. When we we’re gonna leave my brother asked her is hse was sick and she said, yes.
He told her to take his favourite blanket that he wouldn’t go anywhere without and he told her it would help make her feel better. :) KGMH.
A few months ago my girlfriend and I broke up. I was crushed because I’d never loved anyone so much. So while I was trying to get this woman off my mind, I broke down in body-shaking tears.
My little sister came over, knowing nothing and told me “Its okay” while she hugged me. She gives me hope.
Today, my father passed away. My little sister walked in, hugged me, and quoted my favorite show that I make her watch all the time.
She told me, “the end is where we start from.”
She GMH. Utter, complete hope.
Today my sister, who is in kindergarten got a letter from a boy in her class. There were three papers, one with stickers and two handwritten letters. One said, ‘I love you. Why do you always sit with Carolina all the time?’

Today, while is was putting on my make-up, my 5 year old male cousins came in to the bathroom and asked “What is that stuff you’re putting on your face and eyes? You look much prettier without it Jessica”
His unconditional kindness and accidental compliments GMH.
Today, I was having the worst day of my life. I got to art class, and my friend gave me a pink present-shaped silly band. Then she told me I looked so beautiful today.
She’s in seventh grade, and she is mentally handicapped. Morgan, I love you, too.
Today, I went to the mall with my friends to get new clothes. I thought that everything I tried on looked ugly on me and whaty friends tried on looked great.
When I tried on a dress I found a little girl came over to me and whispered “you look beautiful” in my ear.
Her kindness GMH.
I was at the zoo with my little brother yesterday. While we we’re at the turtle exhibit, we noticed that one was stuck on it’s back. He was struggling very much but 2 6 yr.
Old girls came up to cheer him on, they refused to leave until the turtle was right side up.
They sat there for 30 min. KGMH.
I watched out a little girl, she was 5. She gave me a crown and I laughed and said: Now I look beautiful like a princess.
Then she smiled at me and said: you always look beautiful. Thank you Nelly, you GMH even if I don’t like myself most of the time.

At the grocery store, a little boy passed by a mentally disabled person whose mom was pushing his wheelchair. The boy smiled, began to squeal and wave at him, shouting, “Hi, new best friend!” He made the man so happy his whole entire face lit up.
That little boy was my son. Jason, you GMH.
My little sister has Scoliosis to the point where she has to have surgery every 3 months. And everytime she does I get extremely upset and bawl my eyes out and become a nervous wreck.
She’s had 12 surgeries and every time my best friend kristi is there for me.

I was at my friends birthday party and her 4 year old nephew decided to start hitting us and throwing things at us. Her 7 year old brother came in trying to protect us saying “it’s not okay to hit girls.”

Theres a girl I know called Kirsty. She’s 7 years old. Her mothers a drug addict and her dad is not around, none of her 3 brothers go to school and her mum usually can’t take her.
Each and every single day I see her walking to school by herself or she asks people to take her.

I was watching tv yesterday when my sister, who is 3, looked at me and randomly said ‘you’re gorgeous’
No one has ever said that to me before and I felt so happy, I thought id cry. My sister is my life and she means EVERYTHING to me. KGMH!
My son got pushed down while on a swing and was on the ground crying. A boy of 16 picked him up and carried him to the hospital. The boy’s mom called to tell me what happened I ran to the hospital and wanted to meet the boy.
Turns out he’s disabled from the waist down and was born without vocal cords he GMH.
Our school had it’s talent show recently. A chubby, clutzy and unpopular girl got onstage. People booeed her right away. She then sung Loser Like Me by Glee.
She had the voice of an angel. She got the biggest applause and got first place.
That girl GMH.
Too often, I base my perception of my life on how many people want me. And then he told me that when he’s with me he can’t stop smiling, That i’m the best friend he’s ever had,
That he loves me more than he does anyone else. His LGMH, and I know he’s all I need.
My little sister is mentally handicapped. I firmly believe that those who suffer a mental handicap have the purest souls. My proof? Every day when I get dressed, even if I walk out of my room in nothing but old clothes, my sister tells me I look beautiful. It makes my days better. Abby, you GMH.
Today I was babysitting a young girl named Emily. As soon as her parents left, she said, “is it hard to be in true love, Atrum?” I grinned and told her, “yeah, it can be quite difficult.” She giggled and said “love shouldnt be hard though. If it is, then it isn’t really love, is it?” Innocent KGMH.
I’m currently depressed, but I keep it under the surface, I went to the park to be alone like usual. . A little girl stopped what she was doing and sat next to me. Asking me why I had such a sad look in my eyes. We talked and her innocence made me smile. She hugged me before she left smiling. KGMH.
We saw this girl who was all alone, and looked sad. My sister went up to her and said, “Excuse me, but your really pretty!”
She didn’t stop smiling the entire time we we’re there. Kids like her GMH.
Today my friend’s younger sister returned from the animal shelter where she picked a cat. Before she opened the transport cage to show the new cat, her father asked her: “Did you pick the most beautiful?” She answered yes. The cat was old, had only one leg and was blind. She and the cat GMH.
