My mom is an assistant teacher She was explaining to the kids how when they get older, Cupid will shoot their hearts with an arrow and make them fall in love. One boy said very seriously, “I already got shot in the heart by Cupid, I’ve got Faith here so I’m set for life.” They’re five, and they GMH.
On the bus to school this morning two kindergarten kids were talking. “I think we have no school tomorrow! YAY!” the girl said. The boy replied, “Why?” She answered “Presidents day I think…” She then added, “So who are you voting for?” The boy nonchalantly replied “George Washington.”
I was working at a soup kitchen one day. As I handed a starving little girl her lunch, she said, “You are beautiful.” No one has ever said that to me in my life.
Kids who have nothing, and still take the time to brighten someone’s day GMH.
Today we asked a little girl what she wanted to be when she grew up. I expected her to say princess or doctor. Instead she looked at me and said “A poka-dot. Or maybe a butterfly.” Her innocent dreams GMH.
The other day I was at the grocery store.
A mother gave her little boy a quarter and told him he could go get a gum ball.
The kid ran over to the gum ball machine where he saw a box for donations to charity. He put the quarter in the box and said “Those kids need the money more than I need a gum ball.” Kids who put other people first GMH.
Tonight after I got out the shower, I went to my room to find my little sister sitting. She was watching me as I put on my makeup when she says, “I don’t even know why you put that stuff on your face, you look much prettier without it.” She’s the reason I felt beautiful at dinner tonight. KGMH
I’m gay, when I told my little sister about my girlfriend She asked me, “Is she the one with long hair?” I told her yes, that was her.
“You have a beautiful girlfriend,” she said simply.
Her acceptance and understanding gives me hope and strength to come out to the rest of my family.
I am a black 15 year old girl. I have no friends and hate racial comments. At a restaurant yesterday a little girl came up to me and said I was beautiful and wanted to grow up to look like me. She was white:) kgmh :)
Six months ago, I started dating my now boyfriend. Today, my brother and I went to the mall. My brother has autism, and this guy was giving him a hard time when his seven year old daughter walked up and said, “Daddy, why are you being so mean? All he needs is a hug.” Then she gave him a huge hug. They have a playdate next Saturday. His first one.
I was feeling rather depressed one day, sitting on a bench in a store. A father and his son were at a self-checkout close by and the little boy ran over and he smiled up at me and whispered “You’re really pretty. Like an angel.”
That kid saved me from suicide.
One day I was feeling blue at work, having realized I was locked out of my house after a 30 minute walk in snow and had nowhere to go but back to the kids club I worked at. One of the kids climbed into my lap and we talked and played pattercake games until my next shift started 3 hours later. She turned my whole day around. Kids like Izzy GMH.
My 4 yr old and I saw a man with his young son outside in the frigid weather. The man had wrapped his sweatshirt around the little boy, who did not have a coat of his own. As we came near them, my son took off his coat and then offered it to the man for his boy. His selfless sacrifice GMH
My 5 year old son and I were on a plane and there was a man sitting next to us, looking through photos of him and a man. I prayed for Kaiser not to say anything rude but to my surprise he asked, “Is that your boyfriend?” When the man agreed, K smiled and said, “You two are perfect for each other!”

I was at the library today when a little girl came up to me and said “Your hair looks so pretty, I want hair like yours someday.” My hair is dyed purple. A little girls acceptance of difference GMH.
It’s my sister’s second week of kindergarten and she’s best friends with a girl who has Down Syndrome. Last night she was in tears because she had to leave school early the next day and she was worried none of the other kindergartners would play with her friend. Little girls with big hearts GMH.
My boyfriend broke up with me and my family came over. I was crying and I closed my door. Then someone opened my door. It was my little cousin, Benjamin. He said:”Don’t cry, I love you. You can play with my toy car, it stops me from crying,” and then he hugged me. He’s 3. Benjamin, you GMH.
My Uncle was killed in a car accident just two months after my grandma passed away from cancer. I was at the visitation, and started crying really hard. My little sister came to me and whispered in my ear, “Sissy, I don’t want to cry anymore, but you can, I’ll just hug you” Gracey my rock, you GMH.
I work as a waitress for weddings and events. One night when I was clearing a table and a drunk man acted like he wanted something important and made me fall behind on my work. A ten year old boy lifted all the plates, brought them to me and said “have a nice night”. Kids like that GMH
On Thursdays, I have my lyrical class and have to wait outside for the class before to finish. When the class is over, I walk into the room while the girls are packing up. Every week, the same little girl stops whatever she’s doing, and says I look really pretty.
That little girl stopping what she’s doing to make another person smile GMH.
I took my 8 year old foster sister to the park today. We were on the swings when a little boy next to us fell off and started to cry. She lept of the swing and told him “Be brave and it will stop hurting soon.” She’s been mute for as long as I’ve known her. Katie, you’re the reason KGMH xxxx
Today my 5 year old daughter Sophie and I were on a plane. She was staring out the window.
I asked Sophie what she was looking for and she replied,
“I’m looking for Daddy.” He died the week before. We were on our way to Toronto to bury him

I was at the San Diego Zoo a couple months back. We were walking out of the birds exhibit when a little boy ran up in front of us and tried to open the door for my mom and I.
He was no older than two. He GMH.
I went to go on the computer and found a letter by my sister, who is 9: “Dear God, please let me make the world much better i would like poor people to have more stuff because i feel sorry for them. They don’t have money to buy toys or pencils or books, so i say we give those things to them. Thanks”

While visiting our family for Christmas, I was out front smoking a cigarette. My baby brother said “Sissy, you say we’re (my two kid brothers) too good for smoking cigarettes, but so are you.” I am on my 4th week of being smoke free. They fill my life with love and GMH
My little brother plays on the “special” basketball league. None of the kids are amazing, but watching them ignore the stereotypes and just have fun and smile and laugh GMH.
I have a large burn on my face and arm from a house fire.
I’ve always been self-conscious about it but today when I was babysitting a little boy he told me:
“My mommy said not to talk about your face, but I don’t know why, you’re beautiful,”
Him looking at me without being scared is why KGMH
My friend Taylor is Autistic. I sat with her on the bus for just one morning, and she went around the entire school talking about how she finally had a friend for a week straight. She still hasn’t stopped. In a way, she stopped me from suicide. She cared when no one else did, just as I care for her when no one else did. She truly GMH.
A couple of months ago, I was babysitting a little 3 year old girl. We were just watching a movie, when all of a sudden she wraps her arms around mine and cuddles up against me. She let out a sigh and said, “I love you”. It was the sweetest thing I had heard all week, and needless to say it made my day. KGMH
I am a kindergarten teacher, and today we were talking about who inspires us the most. I told the class to yell it out at the same time. At that moment over half the class said, “You.” My 5 year old students GMH. :)
I am a student teacher at a kindergarten class. Today I had to individually ask every student what had wings. 20 of the 21 students told me birds. One little boy instantly said “Angels.” Kids like him GMH. :)
Today my sister asked my grandma why she always wears makeup, does her nails and dyes her hair. She said to make her look prettier. She told her “You always look beautiful.” She started crying with the biggest smile on her face She GMH
Today i was feeling really down on myself, not pretty, and just really sad. My neighbor and her two year old daughter, Rylie, were over. Out of nowhere, Rylie walks up to me, hands me a plastic flower and goes “Jenna, your a princess!” The fact that she knew, and cared GMH
My girlfriend has a little sister, Taylor, and she was worried about Taylor meeting me because I am in a wheelchair. Upon meeting me for the first time, Taylor climbed into my lap, looked at my girlfriend and exclaimed: “WOW, HE’S LIKE A CAR!”

I was talking to my best friend about my parents being racist. She ran over to us and said “It’s not the colour of your skin that matters, it’s the colour of your heart.” Little kids that know the truth GMH
I was getting on the bus when a little girl stopped me. She asked me if my boyfriend and I had broken up. When I told her we hadn’t, she replied “Good. I’ve seen you two waiting for the bus outside and his arms fit perfect on you so gotta keep him.” All I could do was smile. KMGH.
Today I was in line at the gas station, a little boy was with his grandma in front of me. The the little boy said to the clerk, “Yesterday I was here and I didn’t pay the tax so here you go. 16 cents.” The clerk looked at him and said, “You keep that. I love honest people. Don’t ever change.” Thomas, you GMH
On bonfire night (Nov 5th) I saw two girls sitting under a tree in the park, waiting for the fireworks. I was sitting nearby and overheard one of the two girls describing the fireworks to her friend. It was then I found out that BOTH girls were blind. They were no more than 8 years old. They GMH.
Post this for my little sister. She’s my hero. The youngest of nine brothers and recently our parents died. She smiled the whole way through it and I know she reads this everyday and has been trying to get a post on here. Brii, your determination to stay happy when everyone else says no GMH. ILY
